One of our areas of expertise is the delivery of Mining and Oil & Gas consultancy services and project management to Governments in emerging countries. After over 25 years working within the aviation sector there have been many project cross-overs where we have become, by default, trusted consultants to provide independent advice. We work with most of the world’s largest globally diversified natural resource companies. Most greenfield mining projects start with commissioning a Competent Persons Report (CPR).
Competent Person’s Reports (CPR)
A Competent Person’s Report (CPR) is required as part of a prospectus or admission document for an oil and gas or minerals company in its Initial Public Offering (IPO) or to support other public fund-raising initiatives. IAG and our partners have delivered hundreds of reports on behalf of Governments to banks, accounting firms and investors who rely on the CPR when raising money on the capital markets, or to support merger and acquisition (M&A) activity, and we have have been a trusted CPR provider since 2003. Without an independent CPR it is a major task to attract professional investors on a purely speculative basis.
Mr Ted Hazledine, Chairman (IAG – Commodities Consulting Arm)
Ted has been working with African Governments for over 30 years, using his knowledge and experience to guide them to research, plan, manage and support these mining projects to meet their long and short term goals. Likewise he has worked with European and American suppliers to find projects in Africa, using his knowledge and experience to bring these parties together. Of importance is protecting the Governments so that they eventually realise the full value of any greenfield sites or early stage concessions.
We work with Blue chip mining companies such as:
- Anglo – South Africa
- De Beers – Botswana
- Goldfields – Ghana
- SNIM – Mauritania
- Centamin – Egypt
- Anglo Gold Ashanti
For the last 20 years we have also been supplying spare parts and major components to the above companies.
